2. Boer War, 1899-1902, South Africa.
During the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902), Abraham, like his brother, Moses, fought on the side of the Boers at Colesberg in the Cape, including the battle of Coleskop in January 1900. Abraham was one of the best known marksmen in the Orange Free State
